Carpet Manufacturers Yarn winders – Obsolete PLC equipment, PLC Retrofit, Omron S6, Siemens S7, PLC repair, PLC upgrade

A yarn processing machine using obsolete control equipment was desperately in need of an overhaul. A failure of the Omron S6 PLC was the final justification for the customer. The Omron S6 PLC was replaced with a Siemens TIA S7-1200. The machine was also electrically overhauled before recommissioning.
